AI Coaching Platform for Enterprises: The Selection Criteria That Actually Matter
How to choose an AI coaching platform for enterprises in 2026: the difference from an LMS, and the seven criteria DACH buyers weigh most.

Looking for a Vertriebs AI alternative? Compare both platforms in 2026: personas and rating sheets, knowledge transfer, departments, hosting and ISO 27001.
Choose Sleak if service, procurement, leadership or recruiting will train alongside sales, knowledge should be taught through dialogue before practice, and procurement asks about ISO 27001 and SSO. Choose Vertriebs AI if training will stay within sales and a mid-sized team wants to use its own personas on a licence model without per-minute billing.

How we check: every claim about another vendor on this page comes from a public primary source — the vendor's own site, its legal notice, its pricing page or its profile on a review platform — and is marked as a vendor claim where only the vendor states it. Where a vendor publishes nothing on a question, we write that down rather than infer an answer. Sources: sleak.ai, vertriebs-ai.de.

Sleak and Vertriebs AI have more in common than most platforms in this market. Both are based in Germany, let teams create their own conversation partners and score conversations against rating sheets defined by the company. Vertriebs AI expanded these options during summer 2026. On 17 August, custom rating sheets replaced its eight fixed dimensions. Since 30 August, its AI has also been able to create rating sheets and conversation partners from an organization's documents, according to the vendor (vertriebs-ai.de/changelog, checked 13 October 2026). Customization alone is therefore unlikely to settle the choice.
Three questions matter more: Can the platform support departments beyond sales? Does it teach knowledge before employees practice? And what evidence does it provide for IT and procurement reviews? Vertriebs AI is built specifically for sales teams. Sleak is an AI Coach for knowledge and conversation skills across the company. This comparison covers October 2026. Information about the competitor comes from public vendor sources, with the date checked given alongside each reference.

Request a demoWebsiteSleak is an AI Coach built in Munich that helps organizations teach business-critical knowledge and train relevant skills. It has two modes. In Coaching Mode (KNOW), the Coach teaches through dialogue. In Training Mode (DO), employees have a spoken conversation with a virtual persona. The conversation is then scored against a Scorecard, the Standard of Excellence, with feedback tied to specific passages in the transcript. Development Programs combine several scenarios into a learning path with levels and tasks.
At FEGA & Schmitt, Sleak is used in sales, for supplier negotiations in procurement, for feedback conversations in leadership and for onboarding in HR. More than 900 employees across over 100 teams now use the platform. Sleak is ISO 27001 certified, hosts exclusively in the EU and offers an Art. 28 GDPR processing agreement and conformity with the EU AI Act. Customer data is not used for AI training. The company is headquartered in Munich, with 100 per cent of its shares held in Europe. Pricing is tailored to each organization.

WebsiteVertriebs AI is a sales conversation training platform from MW Software GbR in Hamburg, founded by Philipp Meyer, Edgar Witt and Eileen Witt (vertriebs-ai.de/ueber-uns, checked 13 October 2026). The vendor says it serves sales teams of five or more. It covers outbound, inbound and field conversations and has 13 industry pages, including real estate, energy, insurance and pharma. Teams can create their own conversation partners. Since 17 August 2026, custom rating sheets that can be shared within a team have determined conversation evaluations, dashboard results and intensive exercises. Since 30 August 2026, the AI has also created complete rating sheets and conversation partners from an organization's documents, according to the vendor. A central document library supplies conversation partners with offers and product sheets. Teams can also upload and score transcripts of real customer calls (vertriebs-ai.de/changelog, checked 13 October 2026).
Vertriebs AI publishes its processing agreement and sub-processor list. Its homepage names Azure Sweden Central for AI evaluation. The processing agreement and privacy policy instead name Germany West Central in Frankfurt for conversation analysis, and Sweden Central for text extraction from documents (checked 13 October 2026). According to the vendor, training recordings are visible only to the person who made them and are automatically deleted after two years. Prices are not public. The terms specify billing by license rather than conversation minutes, with fair-use limits. Annual contracts generally require at least ten licenses; a pilot is available from one license. Vertriebs AI has four reviews on OMR Reviews with a score of 4.9 out of 5, and none on G2 (checked 13 October 2026).

An AI coaching platform should teach knowledge, give people a chance to apply it and assess the results against clear criteria. Both platforms offer conversation practice and custom rating sheets. Knowledge transfer is where they differ. Vertriebs AI's document library gives conversation partners information about offers and products, while learning paths link to documents for employees to read. The vendor does not publicly document a dialogue-based check of whether employees can then explain that knowledge.
Sleak puts knowledge and practice in sequence. In Coaching Mode for product and method knowledge, the Coach explains the material through dialogue and checks understanding. Employees then apply it in a conversation in Training Mode. Reading something, understanding it and using it in a conversation are separate steps. Our article on the selection criteria for AI coaching platforms covers this in more detail.
Both platforms score conversations against a rating sheet defined by the company. In this respect, they are closer than any other vendors we have compared. Vertriebs AI replaced its eight fixed dimensions with custom rating sheets in August 2026, which now apply to both evaluations and the dashboard. Sleak scores spoken conversations in Training Mode against a Scorecard that the customer writes and publishes as a version. Each rating is supported by passages from the transcript. In both cases, the company sets the standard rather than adopting a fixed scoring model from the vendor.
The difference is in the types of conversation covered. Vertriebs AI scores sales conversations. Sleak uses the same process for supplier negotiations, feedback conversations and job interviews, with Scorecards included in Development Programs and their learning paths. Vertriebs AI displays a portrait of the conversation partner in video mode; whether faces or emotions are analyzed is not publicly documented. Sleak explicitly excludes emotion recognition, biometric profiling and video analysis. Schwäbisch Hall examined the Scorecard approach in a transfer study. The group that completed two Sleak practice conversations reached 72.5 per cent action competence, compared with 61.4 per cent in the control group (p = 0.036). Both groups had identical knowledge levels. The study measured Training Mode, meaning conversation practice, rather than knowledge transfer.
On privacy, these vendors have more in common with each other than with any US platform. Both are based in Germany, host in the EU and publish their processing agreements. Both also say that customer conversations are not used for AI training. Vertriebs AI provides more information than many vendors its size: its sub-processor list is public, and it says training recordings are visible only to their creator and automatically deleted after two years.
The supporting evidence also matters. Check whether the vendor holds an ISO 27001 certificate, whether the website, processing agreement and privacy policy name the same hosting region, whether the commitment on AI training is included in a contract, and whether SSO is available for a company-wide rollout. Sleak addresses these points on its security page. Vertriebs AI does not publicly document ISO 27001 or SSO, and its homepage and processing agreement name different regions for AI evaluation (checked 13 October 2026).
These five questions help with the choice. Answer them for the department you are buying for now and for the one likely to follow. In most organizations, that is leadership development:
The first question is the one most often overlooked: what will a second platform cost if leadership needs the same practice options next year that sales needs today?
The following four steps help you assess your shortlist; the first takes half an hour. At FEGA & Schmitt, Sleak started in sales and later expanded into procurement, leadership and HR. Consider that kind of expansion when choosing a platform, even if you begin with a pilot.
This comparison uses public vendor information checked on 12 and 13 October 2026: both vendors' websites, legal notices, about and industry pages, the public changelog, Vertriebs AI's terms, processing agreement and privacy policy, and the product profiles on OMR Reviews and G2. Statements that come solely from a vendor are labelled accordingly. Where a vendor's documents contradict each other, we include both statements. We identify anything not publicly documented rather than estimating it. Vertriebs AI releases features frequently, so some details may become outdated quickly. Sleak figures come from certified case studies. Check vendor-specific details directly with each provider before deciding.
The main difference is where you can use them. Vertriebs AI focuses on sales teams, with custom conversation partners and rating sheets. Sleak uses the same system of persona, conversation type and Scorecard for service, procurement, leadership and recruiting as well. Its Coaching Mode also teaches knowledge through dialogue before employees practice. This matters if you want one platform to serve several departments over the next two years.
Neither vendor publishes a price list. Vertriebs AI's terms specify billing by booked licenses rather than conversation minutes, with fair-use limits. Annual contracts generally require at least ten licenses, while a pilot is available from one license. Contracts of 12 or 24 months renew automatically (checked 13 October 2026). Sleak tailors its pricing to each organization. You therefore need quotes from both vendors to make a reliable comparison of total costs.
As of 13 October 2026, Vertriebs AI has four reviews on OMR Reviews with a score of 4.9 out of 5, and none on G2. Its website displays customer logos such as Flaschenpost. On the same date, Sleak has 13 G2 reviews with a score of 4.9 out of 5. Both have small numbers of reviews, which say more about visibility on review platforms than product quality. A reference call with a comparable company is more useful for assessing fit.
Yes, according to both vendors. Vertriebs AI hosts in the EU and publishes its processing agreement and sub-processor list. Its homepage rules out AI training with conversation data, although the Azure region listed there for AI evaluation differs from the processing agreement. Sleak is ISO 27001 certified, offers EU-only hosting and an Art. 28 GDPR processing agreement, and does not use customer data for AI training.
Vertriebs AI's website, contracts and support are in German. The language can be set for each conversation partner, but a complete language list is not publicly documented (checked 13 October 2026). Sleak supports 35 languages and regional dialects. Conversations have been held in German, Swiss German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Czech, Hungarian, Danish, Swedish, Chinese and Japanese, among others.
Yes, on both platforms. Vertriebs AI's custom rating sheets replaced the eight fixed dimensions in August 2026. The vendor says its AI can also create them from your documents. In Sleak, you define your methodology as the scoring standard in the conversation type. Versions are tracked through drafts and published snapshots, with eighteen ready-made templates available as a starting point. At SUXXEED, team leads built a persona library that grew from around 70 to more than 500 personas after launch.
Yes. Vertriebs AI scores uploaded transcripts and says it uses them to generate exercises. Sleak accepts real call recordings, transcribes them and scores them using the same analysis as practice conversations.
Sleak currently offers single sign-on per organization and team structures with server-side access control. A public, bilingual changelog documents product updates. CRM, calendar and HRIS integrations are not currently part of the product. According to the vendor, Vertriebs AI runs without a connection to the customer's IT; transcripts of real calls are imported as files. SSO is not publicly documented (checked 13 October 2026).
Vertriebs AI is a good fit if you plan to train only sales teams over the long term. Mid-sized teams can start quickly with their own conversation partners, use industry scenarios and budget by licences without per-minute billing. The product is built for this use and receives frequent updates. Sleak becomes more relevant when a second department joins, when new hires need product knowledge before practice, or when the IT review requires a certificate and SSO.
Both platforms are serious options from Germany. Sleak and Vertriebs AI now offer similar flexibility for custom conversation partners and rating sheets. Vertriebs AI is the leaner choice for a mid-sized sales team that wants to start quickly and budget by licenses rather than conversation minutes. Teams focused solely on sales calls have plenty of options within a clearly defined offering.
For several departments, the criteria in this comparison point to Sleak. Sales, service, procurement, leadership and recruiting can train on one platform, with knowledge taught through dialogue before conversation practice. Certification and SSO also support the IT review. Felix Roll, Project Lead at Würth, puts it this way: "For the first time, we have a training format that scales with our field sales organisation and meets every employee at their individual level."
