How we check: every claim about another vendor on this page comes from a public primary source — the vendor's own site, its legal notice, its pricing page or its profile on a review platform — and is marked as a vendor claim where only the vendor states it. Where a vendor publishes nothing on a question, we write that down rather than infer an answer. Sources: sleak.ai, setero.io.

Sleak and Setero are two German vendors of AI conversation training. They differ mainly in three areas: knowledge transfer before practice, the video avatar and privacy documents available to the public. On the basics, the two are closely matched. Both hold an ISO 27001 certificate with a named certification body. Since its relaunch, Setero has published the certificate number on its homepage. Both say they process data in Germany and the EU, and both score practice conversations against criteria set by the customer.
Three questions help distinguish them: Is knowledge taught and checked before practice? How do teams practice? And which documents can your privacy team and works council review before speaking to sales? Setero offers AI conversation training with voice and video avatars. Sleak is an AI Coach that combines knowledge development with conversation training across the company. This comparison reflects the information available on 27 October 2026. Claims about Setero come from the vendor's public sources and are marked accordingly.

Request a demoWebsiteSleak is an AI Coach from Munich that helps organizations teach business-critical knowledge and develop relevant skills. It has two modes: in Coaching Mode (KNOW), the Coach teaches through dialogue. In Training Mode (DO), employees practice a spoken conversation with a virtual persona. The conversation is then assessed against a Scorecard, the Standard of Excellence. Feedback refers to specific passages in the transcript rather than offering only general praise. Development Programs bring several scenarios together in a learning path with levels and tasks.
At FEGA & Schmitt, Sleak is already used across several departments: in sales, for supplier negotiations in procurement, for leadership feedback conversations and for HR onboarding. More than 900 employees in over 100 teams use the platform. Sleak is certified to ISO 27001:2022 (Tempo Audits Ltd, valid until 18 June 2029), provides EU-only hosting and an Art. 28 GDPR processing agreement, and conforms with the EU AI Act. Customer data is not used for AI training. The company is headquartered in Munich and is fully European, with 100 per cent of its shares held in Europe. Pricing is tailored to each organization.

WebsiteSetero is an AI conversation training platform from Setero Technologies GmbH in Berlin (HRB 251861 B; managing directors Kenneth Hillig and Philip Stackmann, according to the legal notice). Teams practice customer conversations with AI personas, either by phone or in a video call with a lifelike avatar, according to the vendor. Setero says it can create training programs and learning paths from a customer's documents and requirements within minutes. Each session is followed by feedback on method and subject knowledge. Scoring uses the customer's competency models, including weighting and knock-out criteria, with results available in a dashboard or via chat (per vendor). The website lists onboarding, sales, service, leadership and product knowledge as use cases; the OMR profile also mentions candidate interviews. Setero lists LMS, SSO and access to the customer's own content via MCP as integrations. Its homepage displays logos including Doctolib, CGM, KiKxxl and Evernest (checked 27 October 2026).
Setero says it hosts data in Frankfurt and runs inference exclusively in the EU. It also states GDPR compliance and alignment with the EU AI Act. According to the vendor, its ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate was issued by Proks Certification GmbH, carries the number DE-IS-20260307 and is valid until 3 September 2029. The FAQ says results can be anonymized by team and role, and the vendor says documentation for the works council is ready. The processing agreement, technical measures and sub-processor list are available on request. The August 2026 privacy policy covers only the website, which runs on Vercel Inc. in the US. We found no public statement on using customer data for AI training and no terms of service. Setero quotes prices in the first call, based on team size and scope. On OMR Reviews, it has a score of 4.8 out of 5 from six reviews. The vendor has not claimed the profile (checked 27 October 2026).

An AI coaching platform should teach knowledge, let people practice applying it in conversation and assess the result against clear criteria. Sleak and Setero both cover the last two steps. Setero says it creates training programs from the customer's documents and provides feedback on method and subject knowledge after each conversation. Product knowledge is practiced in role-play: the person explains it, and the platform assesses how well they know it.
Sleak begins by teaching the knowledge. In Coaching Mode for product and method knowledge, the Coach explains the material and checks understanding through dialogue. Employees then apply what they have learned in a conversation in Training Mode. For a team launching a new product, this provides a way to learn and check the material before practicing. Our article on rolling out AI coaching in the enterprise explains how this sequence works across a company.
The platforms take a similar approach to assessment: the customer sets the criteria. Setero says it uses the customer's competency models, with weighting and knock-out criteria, and reports on areas such as method, subject knowledge and composure under pressure. Sleak assesses spoken conversations in Training Mode against a Scorecard that the customer writes and publishes as a version. Its ratings refer to specific passages in the transcript. Neither platform names a fixed scoring model imposed by the vendor.
The practice format differs. Alongside phone conversations, Setero offers video calls with a video avatar. It is not publicly documented whether the participant's own camera feed is analyzed. Sleak runs spoken conversations in the browser or by phone, without video, emotion recognition or biometric analysis. A video avatar can make practice closer to the actual meeting when the customer will also be on camera. For phone conversations, spoken practice reflects what the customer hears. At sales outsourcing provider SUXXEED, objection handling in Training Mode improved by 42.4 per cent and average conversation quality by 14.5 per cent. Both were measured in practice conversations against the company's own Scorecard.
On privacy, Sleak and Setero are closer to each other than either is to US vendors. Both are German GmbHs, process data in Germany and the EU, and hold ISO 27001:2022 certificates with named certification bodies. Setero has published more information since its relaunch: the certificate number and validity are on the homepage, and results can be anonymized by team and role. The vendor also says it has prepared answers for works councils on performance monitoring and anonymization. Our guide to choosing a GDPR-compliant AI coaching platform covers the questions to ask.
Access to documents is one remaining difference. Check whether you can read the processing agreement before signing, whether the public sub-processor list includes processing locations, and whether the exclusion of AI training is documented in writing. Also check whether the privacy policy covers the product or only the website. Sleak addresses these questions in its Trust Center, which includes the processing agreement and sub-processors. Setero provides its processing agreement, technical measures and sub-processor list on request. Its privacy policy covers only the website, and a statement on AI training is not publicly documented (checked 27 October 2026).
These five questions can help you choose. Consider both the department you are buying for now, usually sales, and those that may use the platform later:
The second question is the one most often overlooked: practicing on camera when customers only hear you by phone means training under different conditions from the actual conversation.
The following four steps take you from a shortlist to a decision. The first takes half an hour. Consider how the platform will be used after the pilot, too: at SUXXEED, the persona library grew from around 70 to more than 500 personas after launch, created by team leads themselves. Your choice needs to support that later use as well.
For this comparison, we reviewed public sources in the browser on 27 October 2026: the German and English homepages of setero.io, including the security section and FAQ, the privacy policy, the legal notice at /legal/terms-of-service and the OMR Reviews product profile. We found no G2 profile for Setero. Claims based solely on vendor statements are marked accordingly. Where information is not publicly documented, including prices, supported languages and AI training, we say so. Sleak information comes from verified product data and approved case studies. Sleak is our own product. Check vendor-specific claims directly with each provider before making a decision.
The biggest difference is teaching knowledge before practice. Setero lets teams practice conversations by voice or with a video avatar, assessing method and subject knowledge within the role-play. Sleak first teaches and checks product and method knowledge through dialogue in Coaching Mode. Practice then follows in Training Mode. This is particularly relevant when onboarding employees or introducing a new product.
Neither vendor publishes a price list. Setero's FAQ says pricing depends on team size and scope, with a specific quote given in the first call (checked 27 October 2026). Sleak tailors pricing to each organization. You therefore need quotes from both vendors to compare total costs.
Yes. Setero's homepage lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification by Proks Certification GmbH, certificate DE-IS-20260307, valid until 3 September 2029. Sleak is certified to ISO 27001:2022 by Tempo Audits Ltd, valid until 18 June 2029. Ask both vendors for the scope of their certificates; the badge alone does not show it.
According to the vendor, Setero lets teams practice video calls with a lifelike avatar as well as phone conversations. It is not publicly documented whether the participant's camera feed is analyzed or whether emotions or biometric features are detected. Sleak does not analyze video, recognize emotions or create biometric profiles.
Sleak does not use customer data for AI training, and audio recording is off by default. We found no public statement from Setero on 27 October 2026. Its privacy policy covers only the website, no terms of service were available, and the processing agreement and technical measures are supplied on request. Ask for a written answer and have it included in the contract.
Setero lists LMS, SSO and access to your own content via MCP. Sleak offers SSO per organization, teams with server-side access control, a Knowledge Repository and uploads of real call recordings. LMS, CRM, calendar and HRIS integrations are not currently part of Sleak's product. If an LMS connection is a requirement, Setero publicly documents this capability.
Setero says it is multilingual but does not publish a language list (checked 27 October 2026). Sleak supports 35 languages and regional dialects, including Swiss German. Test the languages your teams need at each location before deciding.
As of 27 October 2026, Setero has six reviews on OMR Reviews, averaging 4.8 out of 5. The vendor has not claimed the profile, and we found no G2 profile. Setero lists Doctolib, CGM, KiKxxl and Evernest among its references. With only six reviews, a reference call with a comparable company is more useful than the average rating alone.
Setero is a better fit when your teams want to practice with a video avatar or need an LMS connection from the start. Setero documents both publicly, and Sleak currently offers neither. For video conversation training in sales, service and leadership, Setero is a German option with documented certification.
The two German vendors are closely matched on certification, hosting and customer-defined scoring criteria. Since its relaunch, Setero has caught up on documenting its ISO certification. It is the better fit when a video avatar and LMS integration are firm requirements.
Based on the criteria in this comparison, Sleak is a good fit if you want to teach knowledge through dialogue before practice, use the same platform for procurement and recruiting, and review the processing agreement, sub-processors and AI training statement before speaking to sales. Felix Roll, Project Lead at Würth, describes it this way: "For the first time, we have a training format that scales with our field sales organisation and meets every employee at their individual level."
