How we check: every claim about another vendor on this page comes from a public primary source — the vendor's own site, its legal notice, its pricing page or its profile on a review platform — and is marked as a vendor claim where only the vendor states it. Where a vendor publishes nothing on a question, we write that down rather than infer an answer. Sources: sleak.ai, mindtickle.com.

If you are considering Mindtickle, you are probably looking for more than AI role plays. Its revenue enablement suite includes training programs, content management, real-call analysis, coaching dashboards and Salesforce integration. Role plays are one part of that package. For European buyers, the main question is how broadly the platform needs to work: should it support deals or help people practice conversations across the company? Where employee profile and progress data is stored matters too.

Both Sleak and Mindtickle let people practice spoken conversations with an AI counterpart. Both score those conversations against criteria set by the customer, and neither allows customer data to be used for AI model training. The choice comes down to three main differences: which departments the platform supports, how it teaches knowledge before practice, and where each category of data is processed. The information in this comparison is dated 27 October 2026. Mindtickle information comes from public vendor sources and is identified as such.

Our pick

Sleak

AI Coach for knowledge and conversations, voice-native · Mid-Market & Enterprise

EU-only hosting

Request a demoWebsite

Sleak is an AI Coach from Munich for developing business-critical skills across an organization. It has two modes. In Coaching Mode (KNOW), the Coach teaches through dialogue and checks understanding. In Training Mode (DO), employees practice a spoken conversation with a virtual Persona, then receive structured feedback based on a Scorecard. Leaders within the company define this scoring standard, called the Standard of Excellence. Development Programs bring several scenarios together in a learning path with levels and tasks. Companies create and version their own Personas and conversation types, then share them with individual teams or the entire workspace.

Scoring is based on the conversation itself. Sleak does not use video analysis, emotion recognition or biometric profiling, and audio recording is off by default. Since release v2.6 (13 July 2026), teams can also upload real call recordings and run them through the same analysis as practice conversations. At electrical wholesaler FEGA & Schmitt, more than 900 employees across over 100 teams use Sleak. Its uses include sales, supplier negotiations in procurement, feedback and development conversations for managers, and faster onboarding in HR. Sleak GmbH is funded without outside investors and is certified to ISO 27001:2022. Pricing is tailored to each organization.

Strengths

  • One platform for sales, procurement, leadership, service and recruiting, with the same scoring logic in every department
  • Knowledge and practice with KNOW and DO: the Coach teaches and checks understanding through dialogue before employees practice a conversation and receive feedback
  • Versioned conversation types and Personas, with drafts, published snapshots and sharing by team
  • A Knowledge Repository for your own documents, with access by team or user, so the Coach and Personas use your company's terminology
  • Privacy by default: name anonymization set separately for analysis and leaderboard, no video analysis
  • EU-only hosting, a German GmbH as contracting party, ISO 27001:2022, SSO per organization

Not ideal for

  • Revenue organizations that need to sync training data with Salesforce or show coaching inside the CRM. Sleak currently has no CRM, calendar or HRIS integration.
  • Teams that want sales content management, digital sales rooms and deal guidance from one vendor. Sleak does not manage sales content and is not a conversation intelligence tool.

Best for

Companies that want to establish conversation standards across departments and languages, combine knowledge and practice in one program, and keep their data in the EU.

The alternative

Mindtickle

Revenue enablement suite with AI role plays · Enterprise

Content by choice (Ireland, Singapore, US), profile and progress data in Singapore

Website

Mindtickle is a revenue enablement platform from Mindtickle, Inc., with a San Francisco address and an entity in Pune, India (mindtickle.com/tos, retrieved 27 Oct 2026). According to Mindtickle, the suite includes training programs with microlearning, knowledge tests and certifications, AI role plays, coaching, conversation intelligence for real customer calls, a Copilot, a Readiness Index, content management and digital sales rooms. The vendor says its role plays come with dozens of ready-made buyer personas and voices. Customers can write prompts to create their own personas and use a prompt-based builder to create scenarios. Scenarios can also be generated automatically from an individual rep's skill gaps. Since October 2025, Mindtickle says it can generate role plays from live deals too. According to the vendor, scoring follows a customer-defined rubric based on a methodology such as MEDDIC or SPIN, alongside talk ratio, pace and filler words. The website addresses sales enablement, sales leadership, marketing, revenue operations and partner enablement.

Mindtickle lists more security certifications than Sleak: ISO 27001:2022, 27017, 27018, 27701 and 22301, audited by TÜV NORD (press release of 10 Jan 2025), plus ISO 42001, SOC 2, SOC 3 and CSA STAR Level 1 according to its trust page. The AI Terms rule out using customer data to train AI models. According to the vendor, user profile and progress data is stored in Singapore. Its subprocessor list includes OpenAI and Anthropic, with processing in the US. Mindtickle has about 2,400 G2 reviews with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 (retrieved 27 Oct 2026). Pricing is not published.

Strengths

  • One suite for the whole revenue cycle: training, role play, coaching, real-call analysis, content and digital sales rooms
  • Two-way Salesforce integration, with coaching and recommendations inside the CRM and skill data written back (per vendor)
  • Role plays generated from live deals and individual skill gaps, so admins do not have to create every scenario themselves
  • A broad, audited certification portfolio and one of the largest public review bases on G2

Not ideal for

  • Organizations that want procurement, leadership or HR on the same platform. The website lists no use case for them; the suite is built for revenue teams.
  • Companies whose data protection requirements call for profile and progress data to stay in the EU and a contract with an EU company. According to the vendor, this data is stored in Singapore, and the contracting party is a US company.

Best for

Global revenue organizations that rely on Salesforce and want enablement, content and call analysis in a single suite that also includes AI role plays.

How to choose between Sleak and Mindtickle

What an AI coaching platform has to deliver in 2026

An AI coaching platform should teach knowledge, give people a chance to practice conversations, and assess both against a clear standard. Mindtickle handles these tasks through separate modules. Training programs use microlearning, tests and certifications: people work through content and then answer questions about it. An AI Tutor module also appears in the product navigation, though we found no public description of its function as of 27 Oct 2026. This setup fits teams that already run their courses in Mindtickle.

Sleak teaches knowledge through conversation. In Coaching Mode for product and methodology knowledge, the Coach explains what someone needs to know and uses follow-up questions to check understanding. Employees then apply that knowledge in Training Mode, where the conversation is scored against the same Scorecard. Our guide to choosing a GDPR-compliant AI coaching platform covers the other criteria worth checking.

What does each platform actually measure?

Customers set the scoring criteria on both platforms. According to Mindtickle, its rubric follows your sales methodology, checking, for example, whether the rep qualified the opportunity and asked the required discovery questions. It also measures talk ratio, pace and filler words. The vendor says its Readiness Index correlates these scores with quota attainment, deal size and ramp time. Both the scoring and the Salesforce integration focus on the deal.

Sleak scores spoken conversations in Training Mode against a Scorecard written and published as a version by a leader within the company. Feedback includes evidence from the transcript. The criteria reflect the company's own conversation standards, whether for a termination conversation, a price negotiation in procurement or a sales discovery call. Sleak cannot currently link results to quota or deal size because it has no CRM integration. A study at Schwäbisch Hall measured the effect of practicing against an internal standard: after two conversations, the Sleak group scored an average of 72.5%, compared with 61.4% for the course-only group, a difference of 11.1 percentage points. The study assessed conversation practice in Training Mode, not knowledge transfer.

Privacy and EU hosting: where the two vendors part ways

The clearest privacy differences concern where each category of data is processed. Mindtickle holds more certifications than Sleak, including ISO 27701 for privacy management and ISO 42001 for AI management. According to the vendor, customers can choose a region only for learning content and call recordings. Profile and progress data remains in Singapore, administrative access comes from India, and the contracting party is a US company under California law. Mindtickle covers transfers with Standard Contractual Clauses, the Data Privacy Framework and a transfer impact assessment on request.

Sleak is a German GmbH with EU-only hosting, ISO 27001:2022 and a GDPR Art. 28 data processing agreement; it uses no customer data for AI training and does not record audio by default. Ask both vendors where each category of data is stored, where administrative access comes from, which law governs the contract, and which AI subprocessors process data outside the EU. Sleak answers these in its Trust Center, with the DPA and subprocessor list.

Criteria to check before you decide

These five questions will help you decide:

  1. Which departments should be practicing on the platform in twelve months: revenue teams only, or procurement, leadership and HR as well?
  2. Where is profile and progress data stored, and which company is the contracting party?
  3. Should knowledge be built through courses and tests, or taught and checked in dialogue before practice?
  4. Does the platform need to connect to Salesforce from day one?
  5. Do you need content management and call analysis from the same vendor, or do you already have them? For supplier negotiations in procurement, a revenue suite is not the main consideration.

Ask explicitly which data remains in Singapore when you choose Ireland as the location for content.

Four steps to a decision

These four steps will help you move from a shortlist to a decision. The first takes half an hour. For an example of a rollout across departments, see FEGA & Schmitt: what began as a sales initiative now involves more than 900 employees across over 100 teams.

  1. Decide which department should follow sales. If no other department is planned, a revenue suite is worth considering.
  2. Recreate the same real conversation on both platforms using your terminology and objections. Then compare the scores side by side.
  3. Request the DPA, the subprocessor list and the region for each data category in writing before discussing features further.
  4. Agree with IT and sales operations whether the Salesforce integration is a precondition or a later step.

How we compared

This comparison uses publicly available vendor information retrieved on 27 Oct 2026: the mindtickle.com homepage, its product pages for AI role plays and sales training, its GDPR, trust, subprocessor, terms of service and AI Terms pages, the Mindtickle guide to AI sales role play, press releases of 10 Jan 2025 and 15 Oct 2025, and both vendors' G2 profiles. Claims based solely on vendor information are identified as such. Where information is not publicly documented, particularly pricing, we say so rather than estimate it. Sleak figures come from certified case studies. Sleak is our own product. We recommend verifying vendor-specific details directly before you decide.

FAQ: Sleak and Mindtickle

What is the single biggest difference between Sleak and Mindtickle?

They are designed for different jobs. Mindtickle brings training, role plays, content and call analysis together for revenue teams, with deals and the CRM at the center. Sleak helps employees practice business-critical conversations against standards set by their leaders, in sales as well as procurement, leadership and service. Data residency and the contracting party also differ: Mindtickle is a US provider that stores profile data in Singapore, while Sleak is a German GmbH with EU-only hosting.

What do Sleak and Mindtickle cost?

Neither publishes a price list. On G2, Mindtickle lists a Readiness package (training, role plays, Readiness Index, coaching) and an Enable package (adds content and digital sales rooms), both on request and with no free plan (retrieved 27 Oct 2026). Sleak's pricing is tailored to each organization. You need quotes from both providers to compare the total cost.

What do users say about Mindtickle, and where are the reviews?

Mindtickle has one of the largest review bases in the category: about 2,400 reviews on G2 at 4.7 out of 5. Sleak has 13 G2 reviews at 4.9 out of 5 (both retrieved 27 Oct 2026). Mindtickle cites Cisco among its references, with a training rollout to 18,000 sellers in six weeks (per vendor). For European buyers, a reference call with a comparable company is more useful than an average review score.

Are both platforms GDPR-compliant and hosted in the EU?

Both offer a GDPR data processing agreement. Mindtickle can host learning content and recordings in Ireland. According to the vendor, profile and progress data is stored in Singapore, with transfers covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and the Data Privacy Framework. Sleak is a German GmbH with EU-only hosting, ISO 27001:2022 and a GDPR Art. 28 DPA, and uses no customer data for AI training.

Which languages are supported?

Mindtickle says it supports role plays and feedback in more than 25 languages, though it does not publish a list (per vendor, retrieved 27 Oct 2026). Sleak supports 35 languages and regional dialects; employees have held conversations in German, Swiss German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Hungarian and Japanese, among others. If you have offices in Switzerland, test Swiss German before you decide.

Can the scoring be adapted to our methodology?

Yes, on both. Mindtickle recommends building the scoring rubric around your sales methodology, such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC or SPIN, and setting readiness thresholds. In Sleak, you set your methodology as the scoring standard within the conversation type. Drafts and published snapshots are versioned, and the same approach works for conversations outside sales. There are 18 ready-made templates to get you started.

What integrations are available?

Mindtickle offers considerably more here: two-way Salesforce, deal nudges in Slack or Microsoft Teams, and listings on the Microsoft, Salesforce, HubSpot and AWS marketplaces (per vendor). Sleak offers single sign-on per organization, teams with server-side access control, a Knowledge Repository and uploads of your own call recordings. CRM, calendar and HRIS integrations are not part of the current product.

Can Sleak complement Mindtickle instead of replacing it?

Yes, provided each platform has a clear role. You can keep Mindtickle for sales content, deal guidance and CRM-linked coaching, and use Sleak for conversations in departments Mindtickle does not address, such as procurement, leadership and HR. Check whether your data protection team needs to approve each system separately, and agree on who maintains the Scorecards.

When is Mindtickle the better choice?

Mindtickle is a good fit when you need a revenue suite and Salesforce is central to your work. It offers a mature, widely used system for teams that want training, content, digital sales rooms and real-call analysis from one provider, with role plays informed by deal data from the CRM. Sleak is a better fit when other departments also need to train, knowledge should be taught through dialogue, or profile and learning data must stay in the EU.

Verdict: Sleak or Mindtickle?

Both platforms let you customize the scoring. The main considerations are which departments you need to support and where your data must be stored. Mindtickle is a mature revenue enablement suite with deep Salesforce integration, a broad certification portfolio and a large user base, in which AI role plays are one component. That makes it a good fit for global sales organizations that rely on Salesforce.

Sleak is a better fit for companies that want shared conversation standards across sales, procurement, leadership and service, and prefer to teach knowledge through dialogue. It also suits companies that need profile and learning data to stay in the EU with a German contracting party. As Martina Skibowski, Head of HR, People & Culture at FEGA & Schmitt, puts it: "What surprised me was how quickly Sleak picked up our terminology. After only a few short briefings, it felt like speaking with someone from our own company."
