How we check: every claim about another vendor on this page comes from a public primary source — the vendor's own site, its legal notice, its pricing page or its profile on a review platform — and is marked as a vendor claim where only the vendor states it. Where a vendor publishes nothing on a question, we write that down rather than infer an answer. Sources: sleak.ai, fioro.ai.

Fioro's AI coach, Freddy, helps field reps prepare for their next meeting using the customer's history, according to the vendor. Sleak's AI Coach focuses on the standard your leadership sets for a good conversation. Your company writes and versions that standard and can use it across departments. Both vendors are based in Munich, hold ISO 27001:2022 certification, host in the EU and rule out training AI models on customer data. Their privacy provisions are similar, but their coaches serve different purposes.

Three questions help narrow down the choice. Do you need a coach to support individual sellers in their daily work, or to help a team improve against a shared standard? Will training stay in sales, or extend to procurement, leadership, service and recruiting? And do you want to debrief real customer conversations, or score recordings against the same Scorecard as practice? Fioro focuses on sales and communication, particularly for field reps and sales partners. Sleak develops knowledge and conversation skills across the company. This comparison reflects the platforms as of 27 October 2026. Information about Fioro comes from the vendor's public sources and is identified as such.

Our pick

Sleak

AI Coach for knowledge and conversations, voice-native · Mid-Market & Enterprise

EU-only hosting

Request a demoWebsite

Sleak is an AI Coach from Munich that helps organizations teach and practice business-critical knowledge and skills. It has two modes: Coaching Mode (KNOW) teaches through dialogue, while Training Mode (DO) lets employees practice spoken conversations with a virtual persona. Each conversation is then assessed against a Scorecard, the Standard of Excellence. Feedback refers to specific moments in the transcript instead of offering general praise. Development Programs bring several scenarios together in a learning path with levels and tasks. Teams can also upload recordings of real calls, have them transcribed and assess them using the same analysis as training calls.

Teams can use Sleak across departments. FEGA & Schmitt uses it for sales, supplier negotiations in procurement, feedback and development conversations in leadership, and HR onboarding. More than 900 employees in over 100 teams now use the platform. Sleak holds ISO 27001:2022 certification (Tempo Audits Ltd, valid until 18 June 2029), hosts exclusively in the EU, provides an Art. 28 GDPR processing agreement and does not use customer data for AI training. Sleak GmbH was founded in Munich in April 2024 and is funded without outside investors. Pricing is tailored to each organization.

Strengths

  • One approach across departments: sales, service, procurement, leadership and recruiting use the same structure of persona, conversation type and Scorecard
  • Learn, then practice: the Coach explains and checks knowledge first, then the conversation is practiced and scored
  • Real call recordings scored against the same standard, in the same view as training calls and with the same team permissions
  • Conversation types and personas are versioned, with drafts and published versions, and can be made available to each team
  • ISO 27001, EU-only hosting, Art. 28 GDPR processing agreement, SSO per organization, name anonymization configurable separately for analytics and leaderboard
  • 35 languages and regional dialects, Swiss German included

Not ideal for

  • Sellers who want a companion for daily sales work that prepares meetings using customer history, reviews the pipeline and drafts emails. Sleak develops knowledge and conversation skills; it is not a sales assistant.
  • Organizations that need training data synced into a CRM, LMS or HRIS today. Those integrations are not part of the product.

Best for

Companies that want one conversation standard across several departments, with knowledge, practice and real calls scored against the same benchmark.

The alternative

Fioro

AI coach for field sales and sales partners · Mid-Market & Enterprise

Frankfurt, Google Cloud (according to the vendor)

Website

Fioro is an AI coach for sales and communication from Fioro Technology GmbH in Munich (Liebigstr. 7, HRB 293659). Its legal notice lists Matthias Walter, Nikolaus Landgraf and Victor Prüfer as managing directors. The company says work on the product began in late 2023. Fioro targets companies that sell through field reps, franchisees or independent sales partners. According to the vendor, its training suite combines AI coaches familiar with the company, its products and processes with role-plays, targeted coaching and training plans. After each role-play, reps receive scores for each criterion and feedback on every statement, including wording suggestions. A level mode and team challenges are also available. The customer module supports daily sales work: Fioro says its coach prepares meetings using customer history, rehearses them as role-plays on request and debriefs them afterwards. It also researches contacts, drafts emails and reviews the pipeline. The website lists ARAG, Moderna, GenoAkademie, Baufi24, Bien-Zenker, Haas Fertigbau and wattline among its customers (checked 27 October 2026).

Fioro documents its privacy measures in detail. The trust center lists Frankfurt on Google Cloud as the location of its app and database, along with twelve sub-processors, all with EU locations. These include its voice, transcription and authentication services. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate from Prescient Security LLC is available without a login, including its scope (number 123331, issued 7 July 2026, valid until 6 July 2029). The homepage and trust center state that customer data is not used for AI training. An annex to the terms describes the corresponding commitments from LLM providers Google, Amazon and Microsoft. Fioro describes itself as DORA-ready and offers a DORA addendum. Its processing agreement, audit report and penetration test are available on request. The privacy policy, dated 28 July 2026, names the same services by their legal entities, many of them US companies, plus HubSpot for marketing, without specifying regions. There are no public prices, but a seven-day trial is available. The terms provide for a subscription with three months' notice. The homepage advertises an average rating of 4.6 from more than 5,000 ratings without citing a source. G2 and OMR Reviews each show two reviews at 5 out of 5; the vendor has not claimed the OMR profile (checked 27 October 2026).

Strengths

  • A coach for the whole conversation cycle: meeting prep with customer history, a role-play of the specific meeting, debrief and pipeline review in one tool (according to the vendor)
  • Scores per criterion and feedback on every statement with suggested rewording, plus a level mode and team challenges (according to the vendor)
  • Built for field sales and independent sales partners by its own description, with references in insurance, mortgage finance, prefab housing and energy
  • A transparent trust center: the ISO 27001:2022 certificate with body, number, validity and scope viewable without login, sub-processors with location, hosting in Frankfurt, and the no-training commitments of its LLM providers described in the terms

Not ideal for

  • Companies that also want to train procurement, leadership, service or recruiting. Fioro positions itself for sales and communication, and other departments are not publicly documented as use cases.
  • Teams that want real customer conversations measured against the same standard as practice. According to the vendor, Fioro debriefs real meetings in dialogue with the coach; uploading and scoring recordings is not publicly documented.

Best for

Sales organizations with field reps or independent partners that want one coach for training, meeting preparation and daily sales work.

How to choose between Sleak and Fioro

What an AI coaching platform has to deliver in 2026

An AI coaching platform should teach knowledge, let people practice applying it in conversation and assess the result against a clear standard. Fioro and Sleak cover all three, with different priorities. Fioro describes coaches that know the company, its products and processes and use the knowledge base to answer questions about products and objections. Their main role is to support individual sellers, from role-play to pipeline review.

Sleak focuses on team development. In Coaching Mode for product and method knowledge, the Coach explains what employees need to know and checks their understanding through dialogue. They then apply that knowledge in Training Mode conversations. Development Programs connect the two through levels and tasks. This gives leaders a learning path for introducing a new product or method across, for example, four departments. Our article on rolling out AI coaching in the enterprise explains what this involves across a company.

What does each platform actually measure?

Both platforms score practice conversations and give feedback on individual statements. Fioro says it provides scores for each criterion and suggests better wording for each statement. Sleak assesses the spoken conversation in Training Mode against a Scorecard that the customer writes and publishes as a version. It supports the assessment with references to the transcript. Fioro's case studies describe feedback based on customer playbooks or chamber of commerce exam criteria, with content developed in joint workshops. Whether customers can edit and version the criteria themselves is not publicly documented.

The platforms differ more clearly in how they handle real customer conversations. Fioro says it debriefs meetings through dialogue with the coach and uses the insights to inform the next training session. Its public material focuses on discussing the meeting afterwards; analysis of the recording itself is not documented. Sleak lets teams upload and transcribe real call recordings and assess them using the same analysis, scores and team permissions as training calls. The assessment is based directly on the recorded conversation. At sales outsourcing provider SUXXEED, objection handling improved by 42.4 per cent and average conversation quality by 14.5 per cent. Both figures were measured against the company's own Scorecard in Training Mode conversations.

Privacy and EU hosting: where both are well set up

Sleak and Fioro have much in common on privacy, with less separating them from each other than from a US vendor. Both are Munich-based GmbHs, host in the EU, hold ISO 27001:2022 certification from a named certification body and exclude AI training on customer data. Fioro's trust center makes its certificate, scope, hosting location and sub-processor list available without a login. Its terms describe each LLM provider's commitment not to train on customer data. Financial services companies can also request a DORA addendum. Our guide to choosing a GDPR-compliant AI coaching platform covers the questions behind these provisions.

Before signing, check four things: can you read the processing agreement, does the certificate cover the product, does the vendor itself contractually commit not to use customer data for AI training, and which sub-processors are US companies even if they process data in the EU? Sleak provides information in its Trust Center, including the processing agreement and sub-processors, and can anonymize names in analytics and the leaderboard. Fioro provides its processing agreement and audit report on request. The scope is stated in the certificate, and the terms describe the LLM providers' no-training commitments (checked 27 October 2026).

Criteria to check before you decide

Use these five questions to assess both the department you are buying for today, usually sales, and any departments you plan to add later:

  1. Should the coach accompany individual sellers day to day, or develop the team against a shared standard?
  2. Who defines what a good conversation is measured against, and can you change and version that standard yourself?
  3. Should real customer conversations be talked through afterwards, or scored as recordings against the same standard?
  4. Which departments should be training on the platform in 24 months? Consider procurement, leadership and recruiting too.
  5. Are your sellers employees or independent sales partners, and who maintains the content?

The most frequently skipped point is the second: a score is only as useful as the standard behind it. You should be able to read that standard yourself.

Four steps to a decision

The following four steps will help you move from a shortlist to a decision. The first takes about half an hour. Energieversum, a solar company with a field sales team, shows why a concrete onboarding use case matters: before Sleak, many new reps reached the final onboarding day having practiced between one and ten sales conversations. Today, the average is around 35. Use a specific practice requirement like this to guide your choice.

  1. Write down what a good conversation looks like in your company and which knowledge has to be in place first.
  2. Have both platforms build the same scenario from your documents, and put the evaluations of the same conversation side by side.
  3. Request Fioro's processing agreement and audit report through its trust center, lay them next to Sleak's documents, and give both to data protection and the works council.
  4. Settle who maintains personas and scenarios after launch: your team leads or the vendor. At SUXXEED, the persona library grew from around 70 to more than 500, created by team leads.

How we compared the two platforms

We used publicly available vendor material, checked in the browser on 27 October 2026: the English and German homepage of fioro.ai including the FAQ, the About and Customers pages, the case studies, the legal notice, the privacy policy (dated 28 July 2026), the terms (dated 6 October 2025) with the annex on LLM providers, the trust center with certificate, sub-processors and FAQ, and the profiles on G2 and OMR Reviews. Claims that come only from the vendor are marked as such. Where public documentation is missing, we say so. This includes prices, conversation languages, the source of scoring criteria and uploads of real calls. Sleak claims come from verified product data and approved case studies. Sleak is our own product. We recommend verifying vendor-specific claims directly before you decide.

FAQ: Sleak and Fioro

What is the single biggest difference between Sleak and Fioro?

The main difference is the coach's role. Fioro supports individual sellers in their daily work, from meeting preparation and role-play to debriefs and pipeline reviews. Sleak helps teams improve against a standard set by leadership. It assesses knowledge, practice and real call recordings against the same Scorecard across sales, service, procurement, leadership and recruiting.

What do Sleak and Fioro cost?

Neither vendor publishes a price list. Fioro offers a seven-day free trial. Its terms provide for an automatically renewing subscription that can be cancelled with three months' notice unless otherwise agreed (checked 27 October 2026). Sleak tailors its pricing to each organization. You need quotes from both to compare total costs.

Are both Sleak and Fioro ISO 27001 certified?

Yes. Fioro is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 by Prescient Security LLC, certificate 123331, issued 7 July 2026 and valid until 6 July 2029. Per the certificate, the scope covers the platform, its Google Cloud infrastructure, and the engineering, product and sales functions. Sleak is certified to ISO 27001:2022 by Tempo Audits Ltd, valid until 18 June 2029.

Is conversation data used to train AI models?

Both vendors rule this out. Sleak does not use customer data for AI training, and audio recording is off by default. Fioro states the exclusion on its homepage and in its trust center. An annex to its terms describes the contractual no-training commitments of Google, Amazon and Microsoft as its LLM providers. Ask both vendors to confirm this as their own commitment in the processing agreement.

Can Sleak prepare meetings the way Fioro's coach does?

No. According to the vendor, Fioro's coach prepares specific customer meetings with the customer's history, researches contacts, drafts emails and analyzes stalled deals. Sleak is not a sales assistant and has no CRM, calendar or HRIS integration today. Sleak trains the conversation skills the meeting requires, and scores uploaded recordings of real calls against your own Scorecard afterwards.

Who sets up the content?

According to Fioro, admins create a company-specific coaching library, learning paths and challenges, including for individual sub-teams. Reps can also create their own scenarios as needed. A quote from ARAG on the website describes a full-service approach in which the company did not have to create content in-house. In Sleak, personas, conversation types and programs are built in the app, versioned and made available to each team. At SUXXEED, team leads create their own personas without a development team or a central administrator.

Which languages are supported for conversations?

Fioro's website is available in German and English; no list of conversation languages is published (checked 27 October 2026). Sleak supports 35 languages and regional dialects, Swiss German included. If you have sales partners in Switzerland or across several countries, test the languages you need before choosing a platform.

What do users say about Fioro?

On 27 October 2026, G2 and OMR Reviews each show two reviews of Fioro at 5 out of 5, and the OMR profile has not been claimed by the vendor. The homepage advertises an average of 4.6 from more than 5,000 ratings but names no source. Fioro lists ARAG, GenoAkademie, Baufi24 and Haas Fertigbau among its references. A reference call with a company in your industry will help you put those ratings in context.

When is Fioro the better choice?

Fioro is a good fit when sellers need help preparing meetings, debriefing them and reviewing the pipeline, particularly in field sales or as independent partners. Fioro publicly documents these capabilities; Sleak does not offer them. For a sales team with no plans to extend training to other departments, Fioro is a Munich-based option with well-documented privacy measures.

Verdict: Sleak or Fioro?

Sleak and Fioro are currently on a par in certification, hosting and excluding AI training on customer data. Fioro is the stronger fit when individual sellers need help with meeting preparation, debriefs and pipeline reviews. Its trust center makes detailed documentation available without a login.

The criteria in this comparison point to Sleak for companies that want a shared conversation standard across sales, service, procurement, leadership and recruiting. That includes teaching knowledge through dialogue before practice and assessing real call recordings against the same Scorecard. Marc Weißbrenner, Head of Field Sales at Energieversum, describes the effect for leaders: "The amount of time we save is incredible. The one-to-one roleplays used to consume the time and expertise of our best team leads. Now we no longer need them to run every practice conversation."
